Account Manager, Special Care

• Independently plan, prepare, and conduct indication-specific scientific discussions and visits with community-based specialists regarding products in pain management, neurology, and gastroenterology
• Achieve growth and revenue targets for relevant promoted products and the portfolio
• Identify and strategically manage relevant customer groups, specialists, specialized centers, and selected outpatient clinics
• Build and maintain relationships with regional and national key opinion leaders in compliance with legal requirements and Viatris’ internal codes and policies
• Analyze and actively help shape regional networks that influence prescribing behavior
• Provide evidence-based, indication-specific advice on products, services, and treatment options within the assigned territory
• Implement the applicable marketing and sales strategy, including individualized action planning based on CRM and market data
• Support therapy switches and treatment initiations while ensuring continuity of patient care
• Establish a reputation as a scientifically grounded point of contact within the specialist segment to strengthen Viatris brands
• Plan, conduct, and/or support regional and national scientific events (on-site, hybrid, or digital)
• Promptly document activities, sample distribution, and customer data in the CRM system (Veeva/Salesforce.com)
• Report adverse events within 24 hours in accordance with legal and internal requirements
• Handle administrative tasks such as expense reports and reimbursements

• Several years of experience in specialist pharmaceutical field sales for prescription medicines (Rx)
• Qualified as a pharmaceutical representative in accordance with Section 75 of the German Medicines Act (AMG)
• Degree in a natural science or a medical/pharmaceutical background preferred
• In-depth knowledge of pharmacology in the relevant therapeutic areas (currently neurology and gastroenterology)
• Strong customer focus, professional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to establish long-term relationships
• Proven sales expertise, strong scientific argumentation skills, and a results- and closing-oriented approach
• Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset, including confident interpretation of regional market and healthcare-utilization data
• Team player with strong self-organization, digital proficiency, and a structured working style, as well as excellent communication skills
• Class B driving licence
• Residence within the assigned territory
• Good English skills desirable for using international study and product information and facilitating internal company communication
