Telecommunications Designer

• Design site plans for OSP (Outside Plant) fiber and coaxial cable routes
• Use survey field notes and sketches to create new or update existing designs across software platforms
• Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings
• Generate bills of materials, splice sheets, and supporting design documentation
• Complete assigned work with high quality, accuracy, and efficiency
• Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and the QC team to meet deadlines
• Maintain productivity and design accuracy in a high-production environment
• Adhere to customer specifications
• Work across multiple customer specifications and software platforms
• Troubleshoot design issues and solve problems while meeting project deadlines

• 1–5 years of experience in OSP telecom design, fiber optic (FTTx), splicing, and network architecture
• Fluency in English, including strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Fiber optic design experience and understanding of FTTx networks
• Working knowledge of fiber components, splicing, and network architecture
• Ability to create BOMs, splice sheets, and supporting design documentation
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, field notes, and specifications
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Online, AutoCAD (ACAD), Microsoft Word, Excel, D365, and Outlook
• Preferred experience with GIS, Vetro, ArcGIS Pro, Bluebeam, Visio, and PDF editing
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and telecom design best practices
• Reliable internet connection
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check, drug test, and assessment tests
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Ability to work specified IST shifts and complete two weeks of training during the stated hours
