SAP FICO Consultant – Revenue Accounting

• Design, configure, test, and support SAP FICO modules, with a primary focus on Revenue Accounting (e.g., RAR, SD-FI integration, billing, invoicing)
• Gather and analyze business requirements from finance and business users, translating them into functional specifications and SAP solutions
• Perform system configuration, master data setup, and develop test scripts for SAP FICO functionalities related to revenue accounting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SD, MM, and Project Systems, to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end process effectiveness
• Provide expert-level support, troubleshooting, and resolution for SAP FICO issues, particularly those impacting revenue recognition
• Develop and deliver user training, documentation, and support materials for new and existing SAP functionalities
• Participate in project planning, execution, and post-go-live support phases for SAP implementation and enhancement projects
• Stay abreast of SAP best practices, new functionalities, and industry trends, particularly in revenue accounting standards such as IFRS 15 and ASC 606

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with a strong focus on Revenue Accounting
• Proven expertise in SAP FICO configuration, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), and particularly Revenue Recognition (RAR)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15/ASC 606)
• Experience with SAP SD-FI integration for order-to-cash processes and billing/invoicing
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• SAP certification in FICO or relevant modules is a plus
