Senior Network Engineer

• Resolve incidents sustainably and plan and implement changes in line with processes and SLAs
• Proactively optimize systems through upgrades, migrations, monitoring, and adjustments
• Work with Juniper and Arista, including CVP, in a high-end environment
• Get started with automation using Ansible and GitLab
• Operate complex WAN core, ISP peering, and cloud networking environments
• Participate in on-call rotations and carry out scheduled out-of-hours changes in accordance with customer SLAs
• Collaborate within the Network Operations team in the Platform Services department

• Experience operating networks, including routing and switching
• Practical experience with troubleshooting and working with the CLI
• Ability to navigate complex network environments
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Bash
• Completed vocational training or a degree in IT or networking; alternatively, comparable practical experience as a career changer (m/f/d)
• Good knowledge of Juniper and/or Arista is desirable
• Willingness to learn new areas and continuously expand your expertise
• Independence and initiative
• Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and occasionally carry out scheduled out-of-hours changes in accordance with customer SLAs
