Solutions Architect

• Analyze and design technical solutions to solve business problems
• Support and oversee Technical Specialists’ work
• Provide input and support for project planning and cost estimates
• Deliver technical initiatives
• Participate in technical evaluation, vendor management, and standard-setting processes
• Provide highest-level internal support and maintenance for assigned technology (Level 3)
• Create and maintain technical documentation for operation and support of assigned technology
• Participate in lifecycle planning, including recommending upgrades, deployments, and retirements
• Support implementation and maintenance of the Responsible Care® Management System in line with RC14001® requirements, as applicable to the site/region

• University degree or equivalent experience in related technologies required
• 7–10+ years of experience in a technical area
• Demonstrated competence as a technical specialist
• Highest levels of certification in specialty area
• Ability to participate in defining technical environments, standards, methodologies, and processes
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to define quality assurance and testing protocols
• Ability to develop and deliver solutions while providing direction, oversight, and support
• Ability to work within a team environment and guide and support other technical professionals
• Maintains highest level of competence and/or certification in specific technical areas
