Senior Java EE Engineer

• Further development of the existing archive solution
• Modernization of the software stack toward a highly available application landscape based on Kubernetes, Docker, and modern DevOps practices
• Implementation and further development of business requirements
• Operation, maintenance, and optimization of existing applications
• Close collaboration with business departments, Product Owners, and development teams in an agile environment
• Supporting the modernization of the existing system landscape and the digital transformation

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Java EE
• Solid experience developing and maintaining backend systems
• Good DevOps skills and an interest in modern cloud and container technologies
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Knowledge of SAFe and Scrum; certifications are an advantage
• Ability to respond flexibly to new requirements and actively contribute to change
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in German and English
