Clinical Account Executive, Oncology

• Serve as the strategic leader of the assigned territory
• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs
• Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders
• Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific and clinical expertise
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences
• Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution
• Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions
• Complete required AbbVie training and follow company policies and OEC/Legal procedures
• Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities
• Support brand objectives and business goals for CLL and NHL oncology products
• Report to the Senior District Manager

• 5+ years of sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics
• Competitive selling skills
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Persistence and grit with a strong record of success in challenging environments
• Personal auto or company car/truck
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
• Regular business travel by air or car
• Ability to meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination
• Oncology experience, preferably in hematologic malignancies (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Account management experience in any industry (preferred)
• Specialty pharmacy experience (preferred)
• Healthcare industry experience, especially working with patients or consulting healthcare companies (preferred)
• People management or other leadership experience (preferred)
• MBA or other advanced degree (preferred)
