Junior Project Manager – Digitalization, Finance & Public Sector

• Overall responsibility for implementing software solutions in financial accounting and related processes for public authorities and churches
• Ensuring project objectives are met in terms of quality, schedule, and budget
• Coordinating stakeholders at all levels
• Organizing and facilitating workshops, training sessions, and acceptance tests
• Working closely with customers, internal project teams, and external service providers
• Ensuring project documentation is maintained and regularly reporting on project progress
• Managing requirements and conducting risk analyses, as well as deriving appropriate measures
• Starting as a Consultant with intensive onboarding and gradually preparing to take on project management responsibility

• Completed degree in business administration, economics, or public administration, ideally with a focus on financial accounting
• Initial experience managing IT or software projects
• Industry experience in municipal administration is an advantage
• Knowledge of financial accounting and municipal budgeting processes is an advantage
• Knowledge of traditional and agile project management methods
• Certification such as PRINCE2 or Scrum Master is an advantage
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Empathy when dealing with different stakeholders
• Willingness to travel throughout North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, and Saarland
• Fluent German at a professional negotiation level
