Master’s Scholarship Recipient – Data Science, People Analytics

• Map business rules, define success criteria, and identify regulatory requirements (LGPD)
• Map data sources, assess quality and representativeness, identify historical biases, and verify reliable labels
• Build the training dataset, anonymize data in compliance with LGPD, generate features, and address bias
• Implement and train the model
• Measure technical quality and make business go/no-go decisions
• Integrate the model into a human-in-the-loop workflow
• Document for auditing, continuously monitor, and maintain governance with a rollback plan
• Develop an innovation project for ICT Itaú in partnership with Inova Talentos

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with the degree completed
• Experience with machine learning and recommendation/ranking models
• Data manipulation, integration, and preparation using Python, SQL, or similar tools
• Exploratory analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Definition of success metrics and development of analytical MVPs
• Understanding of LGPD, bias mitigation, and explainability applied to sensitive decisions
• Experience with People Analytics or HR data and recruiting processes
• Fairness evaluation (gender/race/age) and bias mitigation techniques
• Monitoring of model drift, auditing, and governance for models in production
• Execution of controlled pilots with online evaluation (effort and quality)
• Degree in progress or completed

• Scholarship stipend: BRL 9,000.00

• Availability for 40 hours per week
