Junior AI Engineer – Pharma

• Develop and maintain components for AI-powered applications using Python
• Build scripts, API integrations, prompts, and simple AI workflows for approved use cases
• Prepare and process data and connect approved enterprise data sources
• Support Retrieval-Augmented Generation and knowledge-grounding workflows
• Write unit and integration tests and evaluate AI outputs for quality and reliability
• Investigate defects and contribute to continuous improvement of AI solutions
• Use Git and participate in code reviews and collaborative development practices
• Support containerization, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities
• Document implementation details, setup steps, limitations, and test results
• Research relevant AI tools and contribute prototypes and recommendations to the team

• Internship experience or up to 1 year of experience in software development, AI engineering, data science, automation, or a related technical field
• Working knowledge of Python and basic software engineering practices, including OOP, debugging, and testing
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and external service integrations
• Initial hands-on exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, or agent-based workflows through projects or coursework
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development practices
• Basic knowledge of databases and data handling; SQL is a plus
• Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and structured problem-solving skills
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Fluent English is a must
• Academic, internship, open-source, or personal projects involving AI, Python, APIs, or backend development
• Exposure to containers, CI/CD, cloud platforms, or deployment
• Cybersecurity or Threat Intelligence knowledge
• Interest in secure development, AI evaluation, data privacy, and responsible AI
