DevOps Engineer

• Build applications using MongoDB, Next.js, Nest.js, Node.js, and DevOps tools and practices
• Code, review, deploy, test, and iterate on enterprise products
• Participate in regular Scrum ceremonies
• Architect systems for high availability and resilience using AWS services
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and YAML
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
• Build secure and robust web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, scalability, and performance decisions
• Design, develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Jenkins, and Docker
• Solve complex real-time performance and reliability problems
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions for system health and performance

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering
• 2+ years of experience developing with Node.js/MERN stack or equivalent
• 2+ years of core web app development experience (front-end and back-end)
• 2+ years of CI/CD and/or DevOps related work experience
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
• Working experience with YAML for configuration management
• Familiarity with Terraform
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience in secure software development and architecture
• Familiarity with security best practices and protocols
• Exposure to VSCode, Postman, Jira, Jenkins, and Docker
• Experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch or ELK Stack
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective collaboration and communication abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Experience working on Linux and Windows operating systems
• Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check, including criminal, prior employment, and education verification
• AWS certifications, serverless architecture, microservices, networking and security, performance optimization, and community contribution are preferred
• PHP experience is a strong plus
