Senior Python Engineer, Integration

• Take full ownership of backend features and improvements from design through implementation, deployment, and production support
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python and Django
• Build and maintain integrations with KYC, geolocation, payment, and other third-party systems
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to scope and deliver new integrations
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting across integration flows
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability, prevent regressions, and improve test coverage
• Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations

• At least 5+ years of development experience
• Python as the primary language
• Strong experience in API and system integrations
• Proven experience integrating third-party APIs
• Deep understanding of webhooks, callbacks, idempotency, and failure handling
• Experience with observability tools
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
• Experience designing architectures for highly loaded and scalable solutions
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and production monitoring
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
• Payments and KYC integrations are a strong plus
• Experience in early-stage startups and fast-paced engineering environments is nice to have
• Experience writing automated tests, measuring test coverage, and defining test automation strategies is nice to have
• Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, or Grafana is nice to have
• Experience in sports/betting industries is nice to have
