Senior Software Engineer – Product Expansion Team
Sobre a vaga
• Develop and maintain core backend services handling data processing, transformations, and business logic
• Build multi-use virtual card and analytics products within the Product Expansion team
• Design idempotent, queue-based, event-driven workflows using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies
• Write maintainable Go or comparable backend services and SQL using Postgres or equivalent
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Instrument throughput, latency, and error-rate metrics and alerts
• Diagnose and resolve reliability and performance issues
• Partner with Product and Operations teams to deliver features rapidly
• Pair with teammates to share knowledge and improve tooling and processes
• Contribute to accounts receivable automation and payment infrastructure for service-based businesses
• Eligible to work in Brazil
• Strong in Go or a comparable backend language
• Strong in SQL, with Postgres or equivalent
• Experience working on payment platforms or with payments/financial transactions
• Comfortable with event buses/queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Familiarity with Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
• 4–7 years of professional software development experience, with senior-level responsibilities
• Nice to have: data lake or analytics engineering experience with ClickHouse, dbt, Dagster, Spark/Databricks, Snowflake, or similar
• Nice to have: experience working on analytics products
• Nice to have: frontend experience with TypeScript
• Nice to have: prior work on financial/data reconciliation
• Nice to have: experience integrating with QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or similar APIs
• Nice to have: understanding of accounting principles such as double-entry
• Nice to have: observability tooling experience with Prometheus or Grafana
• Nice to have: basic compliance/security exposure, including encryption and audit trails
• Nice to have: mentoring, project leadership, or organizational improvement experience
