Veterinarian – Telemedicine, Daytime Shifts, Minijob

• Advise pet owners about their animals’ health concerns, emergencies, and questions via video chat and telephone
• Independently handle initial-contact inquiries
• Assess the need for further treatment
• Clearly communicate treatment recommendations
• Issue referrals to veterinary hospitals, veterinary specialists, or primary-care veterinarians when needed
• Document consultations conducted and treatment recommendations provided
• Cover scheduled daytime or nighttime shifts as part of a minijob
• Support the team through double coverage during particularly high-demand time slots
• Complement veterinary care with digital telemedicine via video and telephone
• Advise on straightforward cases, provide well-founded second opinions in complex cases, and deliver first aid and referrals in emergencies

• Completed veterinary medicine degree
• At least 3 years of clinical experience or 5 years of practice experience
• Experience, particularly in small animal medicine
• Ability to conduct consultations independently via video and telephone
• Ability to confidently handle medical inquiries during initial contact
• Ability to communicate assessments and treatment recommendations clearly and professionally without in-person contact with the animal
• Excellent communication skills, empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and a confident manner
• Good IT skills are an advantage
• Initial experience in telephone or telemedicine consultations is desirable but not required
• Regular and reliable willingness to cover one or more of the available shifts
• Willingness to participate regularly and reliably in shift scheduling
