Software Development Specialist

• Develop and maintain systems for health insurance providers, with a focus on backend development
• Build, integrate, and maintain APIs using REST and SOAP standards
• Support applications by identifying root causes of failures and fixing bugs
• Propose and implement continuous improvements to optimize performance and user experience
• Perform data modeling in Oracle databases
• Create optimized queries and develop new database structures
• Provide technical input when defining requirements for new features or enhancements
• Break down and detail requirements into smaller tasks for the development team's planning and execution
• Work in an agile and collaborative environment

• Advanced proficiency in C# application development
• Advanced proficiency in backend web application development
• Advanced proficiency with ORM tools
• Advanced proficiency in SQL
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery
• Experience with the MVC pattern
• Knowledge of applications that use dependency injection mechanisms
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience with Knockout or frontend frameworks is a plus
• Knowledge of Node.js is a plus
• Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of the healthcare industry (health insurance plans, ANS, TISS standard) is a plus
• Knowledge of Autofac, Castle Windsor, and NHibernate is a plus
• Knowledge of Oracle is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Computer Science is a plus
• Experience developing and maintaining systems for health insurance providers is a plus
