Senior Frontend Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Participate in architecture and design discussions
• Write and review technical design documents
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with unit and integration test coverage
• Optimize database schemas and queries for performance and reliability under load
• Build event-driven and asynchronous workflows using message brokers
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production systems
• Participate in incident response and post-mortems
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and engineering best practices
• Perform code reviews and mentor Middle and Junior engineers
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Frontend, QA, and DevOps to deliver features end to end
• Maintain clear API and technical documentation
• Own services end to end, from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and on-call support

• 5+ years of commercial backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Go, including idiomatic code, concurrency patterns, and performance profiling
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and migrations
• Experience with Redis or similar caching solutions
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs; gRPC is a plus
• Experience documenting APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed-systems trade-offs
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS and event-driven design
• Experience with Docker and understanding of Kubernetes basics
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD practices
• Solid experience with automated unit and integration testing
• Understanding of application security fundamentals, including OWASP Top 10, secure handling of secrets and user data, and authentication and authorization basics
• Good written and spoken English
• Preferred: experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Graylog, or OpenTelemetry
• Preferred: experience with high-load systems and performance profiling
• Preferred: experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure and infrastructure-as-code
• Preferred: experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Preferred: experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineers
• Preferred: experience in gaming, e-commerce, fintech, or payments
• Preferred: practical, up-to-date experience with modern AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor
