IOL Manager

• Support surgical facilities and oversee the overall IOL portfolio
• Showcase product benefits and differentiate products from competitors through high technical consultancy in assigned accounts
• Work with Account Managers, Tender and Pricing teams to provide customer solutions
• Drive total IOL revenue and market share in the NSW West Territory
• Accelerate PCIOL penetration
• Facilitate the Accelerator program in selected accounts
• Manage tender requirements with internal teams
• Work with Customer Operations on consignment, leveraging MyAlcon360
• Develop new business with customers to achieve sales targets
• Maintain and optimize existing relationships and manage business with key customers
• Provide feedback on competitor activities through line management
• Maintain and uphold an excellent company image

• Tertiary qualifications in optometry, orthoptics, science or business
• 2-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles within a surgical environment or other industries
• Strong understanding of ophthalmic procedures, product technology, and selling to the medical profession
• Demonstrable track record developing and executing business plans, goal setting and team building, performance management
• Strong desire and ability to learn technical knowledge
• Deep knowledge of all IOLs and ability to detail the full portfolio of IOL products
• Ability to competitively position Clareon vs. modified/advanced monofocals
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both technical and interpersonal
• Customer-oriented mindset and strong customer relationship management
• Flexibility, motivation, self-confidence, resilience, goal-oriented mindset and strong drive
• Strong logical and analytical skills to solve problems, work independently and be proactive
• Strong business decision-making based on data, fairness, and consistency
• Experience with CRM applications such as Salesforce is desired
