Mid/Senior CDN Automation Engineer, Python

• Design and implement business logic for converting configurations between different CDN solutions
• Shape the software architecture of the conversion and migration framework
• Develop, test and maintain production-grade Python software to high quality and reliability standards
• Build and maintain the product roadmap and deliver against real-life customer configurations
• Work as part of the Development team and cooperate closely with CDN Subject Matter Experts to continuously improve the automation framework
• Collaborate with the customer's Professional Services and Engineering teams

• Hands-on experience with CDN solutions of various vendors (e.g. Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, Amazon CloudFront, Google Cloud CDN, Azure Front Door)
• Hands-on experience with CDN providers' APIs and CLIs
• Experience with CDN configuration, preferably migrations between different vendors
• Strong expertise in HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS, caching and content delivery concepts
• Good knowledge of CDN solutions
• Solid Python skills, including working with REST APIs, JSON/YAML data and writing maintainable, tested code
• Experience working with customers or business stakeholders on technical projects
• Experience with production-grade deployments
• Knowledge of Linux
• 5+ years of experience in CDN, web infrastructure, networking or related roles
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)
• Willingness to learn and solve challenges creatively through individual solutions and teamwork
• Readiness to work in an international environment with customers located around the globe, potentially requiring flexibility in working hours
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Knowledge of web application security: WAF, bot management, DDoS protection, rate limiting
• Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of DevOps tools and practices
• CDN vendor certification
