Senior Data Engineer

• Design the warehouse and transformation layer underlying Firmable's products
• Decide where models belong in the data pipeline
• Run LLM extraction and entity resolution over millions of records per day while controlling cost and error rates
• Define standards for using dbt tests and SQL, cheap decision models, and frontier LLMs
• Write evaluation sets and regression suites to prevent bad prompt or model changes from reaching customer data
• Detect model drift when vendors update models
• Keep Snowflake fast and affordable at billions of rows
• Write the reference implementation for the team
• Collaborate in small teams through design, code review and evaluations
• Log every LLM call with its prompt version, model and cost

• 5–7 years building production data platforms
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, Airflow and AWS
• Experience running LLM extraction and entity resolution over millions of records per day
• Experience building labelled evaluation sets and measuring precision/recall
• Experience working with millions or billions of rows
• Experience owning data platform architecture decisions end to end
• Experience with long-term ownership of a platform
• Daily use of AI coding tools and evidence of shipped work using them
