Lead Mobile Application Engineer, .NET MAUI

• Define and own the architecture for cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI
• Lead development of core mobile application features using C#, .NET, and XAML
• Implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces for Android and iOS
• Oversee integrations with RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, secure local data storage, and offline synchronization mechanisms
• Establish coding standards, perform architecture and code reviews, and ensure security, performance, and stability
• Own the end-to-end mobile application lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, build automation, versioning, signing, and deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Mentor senior and junior engineers and support technical decision-making
• Partner with product owners, backend teams, QA, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including substantial hands-on experience building and maintaining mobile applications
• Proven experience delivering production-grade Android and iOS applications
• Deep understanding of MVVM, clean architecture principles, and modern mobile design patterns
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and XAML
• Experience with a modern mobile development framework or technology stack, such as native Android/iOS development, Xamarin.Forms, .NET MAUI, React Native, or an equivalent solution
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party services, and secure local data storage solutions
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices for mobile application delivery
• Demonstrated experience using agentic AI coding tools to plan, implement, test, debug, and refactor code as part of day-to-day software development
• Experience making architectural decisions, reviewing code, troubleshooting complex issues, and guiding engineering teams toward scalable solutions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with .NET MAUI or Xamarin.Forms is nice to have
• Experience developing mobile applications in regulated environments or for healthcare and clinical research is nice to have
