Senior Business Analyst – Reinsurance

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading meetings, presentations, and discussions regarding the implementation and use of the Girus system
• Bridge the gap between the business teams at insurance and reinsurance companies and the development team
• Translate complex industry needs into system solutions
• Conduct discovery processes to understand client pain points, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Structure, qualify, and introduce new ideas and improvements to inform the development team’s backlog
• Ensure that what is being built delivers real value
• Work with leadership to align implementation strategy and product evolution

• Solid experience in insurance and reinsurance
• Knowledge of the business rules, terminology, and operations of the insurance and reinsurance markets
• Understanding of software systems, data flows, and implementation processes
• Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to leading meetings with senior stakeholders
• Ability to manage expectations and overcome objections
• Analytical and product-oriented mindset
• Ability to distinguish between what the client asks for and what they actually need
• Previous experience with the Girus system is a plus
• Experience with Scrum/Kanban or in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst role is a plus
• Experience in Product Operations is a plus
• Fluency in English or Spanish is a plus
