Senior Engineer, QE

• Own test strategy and coverage for the team's features
• Act as a strategic quality partner to engineers
• Design test plans and build and evolve automation frameworks
• Embed quality-by-design practices
• Partner with developers, product managers, and platform teams to define test requirements
• Guide teams toward sustainable quality practices
• Define and execute test strategies across UI, API, and service layers
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and performance testing suites
• Utilize AI-assisted tools and agentic workflows to accelerate testing and debugging
• Lead risk assessments, release validations, and root-cause analyses for critical issues
• Implement shift-left practices and enforce quality gates within development teams

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality engineering roles
• Deep proficiency in testing TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend ecosystems such as React and Webpack
• Expert-level experience with Playwright or comparable browser automation frameworks, including Cypress and Selenium WebDriver
• Strong experience with unit and component testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, or React Testing Library
• Proven experience designing and building test automation frameworks from scratch or significantly evolving existing ones at scale
• Solid understanding of CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Buildkite, and GitLab
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude
• Hands-on experience with Allure or similar test reporting/analytics platforms
• Understanding of AI/ML-powered products and testing challenges including non-deterministic outputs, data quality, and model evaluation
• Experience in SaaS, fintech, or market intelligence domains
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as k6, Lighthouse, and Artillery
• Familiarity with visual regression testing using Percy, Chromatic, or Playwright visual comparisons
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS/GCP
