Staff Engineer – Cloud Network Architect

• Design and implement comprehensive cloud network architectures, including virtual networks, subnets, and routing strategies
• Oversee deployment and management of cloud networking resources, including load balancers, VPNs, and firewalls
• Design and enforce network security policies and practices, including encryption, access controls, and threat detection
• Monitor network performance and implement optimization strategies to enhance throughput and reduce latency
• Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering, and IT teams to integrate cloud network solutions
• Identify and resolve connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks, and security incidents
• Create detailed documentation for network designs, configurations, and processes
• Provide regular reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend new tools and approaches

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture or cloud engineering
• Strong background designing, implementing, and managing cloud network environments across AWS and Azure
• Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure networking services, including VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing, load balancing, IPsec VPN, AWS Direct Connect, AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Cloud WAN, Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, and hybrid cloud connectivity patterns
• Experience with network security practices and tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption
• Strong automation and Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols and hybrid routing design, including BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, route filtering, prefix management, and troubleshooting complex routing behavior across cloud and on-premises environments
• Familiarity with network monitoring and performance analysis tools
