Staff Engineer, Retail Media – AdTech Solutions

• Drive the technical direction of the Retail Media platform
• Design scalable, maintainable architectures
• Lead the evolution of Node.js/TypeScript microservices and distributed systems
• Design and build high-performance backend services, APIs, and frontend applications
• Remain actively involved in implementation and technical problem-solving
• Architect and optimize data-intensive and asynchronous workflows for campaign management, ad serving, targeting, and reporting
• Lead complex engineering initiatives across teams
• Drive architectural alignment, mentor engineers, and establish technical standards
• Partner with Product, UX, Analytics, and Retail Media stakeholders
• Translate business needs into impactful, scalable AdTech solutions

• Extensive software engineering experience, including experience as a Staff, Principal, Tech Lead, or similar technical leadership role
• Strong expertise in backend engineering, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks
• Proven track record designing and scaling complex systems
• Experience driving architectural decisions and leading technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams
• Experience in AdTech, ideally Retail Media, sponsored advertising, ad serving, targeting, auctions, or attribution
• Ability to remain hands-on while influencing technical direction, mentoring engineers, and raising engineering standards
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional product environments with Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders
• React, Next.js, Koa.js, NestJS, MongoDB, Redis, BullMQ, RabbitMQ, Algolia, Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Google Cloud Platform, CircleCI, ArgoCD, and modern ad-serving platform integrations
