Team Leader – Operations, Exports

• Check Export/Import processes according to the bank's internal policies, UCP/ISBP/ISP, and applicable ICC guidelines
• Lodge transactions in the processing system across Trade Finance business segments
• Perform sanction checking of relevant parties in documents
• Handle Commodity Trade Operations documents
• Input documents into the system and prepare SWIFT for advising
• Process commercial customer transactions related to Trade Finance, including Import, Export, and Guarantee
• Manage Internet Banking and Trade Finance Systems, including development, enhancement, functional requirements, testing, and implementation
• Act as first point of contact for system-related user problems
• Ensure procedures comply with bank policy and guidelines
• Review customer complaints and take immediate action
• Act as final checker of import/export bill documents and ensure consistent examination standards
• Recommend actions regarding changes in law, ICC rules, government regulations, and bank policies
• Collaborate with onshore units and participate in team huddles to resolve issues and ensure seamless client delivery
• Ensure MBOs are achieved on time

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5-8 years of relevant working experiences in Trade Operations
• Trade experience of 3-4 years is a must
• Graduate with thorough and in depth understanding of Trade Finance products and functions
• Preferably CDCS
• Understanding of SWIFT, Trade Finance and financial operating systems
• General banking knowledge
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in General Banking and Trade Finance
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Attentive to details, strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure, excellent organizational skills and good team player
