Senior Data Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
• Structure and optimize analytical data models focused on hospital operations (maintenance, assets, infrastructure, and facilities)
• Develop data processing routines using Spark and Python for large datasets
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, ensuring high performance and data integrity
• Implement CI/CD and code versioning processes using Azure DevOps
• Work with data architecture in cloud environments, primarily AWS, ensuring scalability and security
• Integrate data from different corporate systems and operational platforms
• Support analytics and dashboard initiatives, ensuring the reliability of the data layers consumed by business teams
• Work with Facilities, Engineering, and Asset Management teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions

• Solid experience as a Senior or Expert-level Data Engineer
• Advanced SQL skills for manipulating and optimizing large volumes of data
• Experience with Apache Spark for distributed processing
• Python programming for data engineering and automation
• Experience with Azure DevOps (version control, CI/CD pipelines, and code management)
• Experience with data architecture and AWS data services
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and building Data Lakes or Data Warehouses
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
• Experience working with asset management, maintenance, engineering, or facilities data
• Experience with modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, or DataOps)
• Knowledge of data visualization and BI tools
• Strong analytical and structured-thinking skills
• Effective communication with technical and business teams
• Collaborative profile, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Ability to work in complex environments with large volumes of operational data
