Development Engineering Service Engine, Aftertreatment

• Develop, validate, and optimize repair and maintenance methods for engines, exhaust aftertreatment systems, and other powertrain components
• Ensure service methods are ergonomic, efficient, and compliant with safety and environmental standards
• Represent the service perspective in product and process development
• Collaborate with engineering, diagnostics, documentation, and tooling teams
• Analyze and optimize service processes using digital simulation and verification tools
• Develop and maintain technical repair standards
• Translate engineering and CAD data into practical workshop and service instructions
• Support technical documentation through method validation and technical clarification
• Promote standardization and sharing of best practices within Powertrain Service Engineering
• Act as a point of contact for technical inquiries and support training activities, service organizations, and international projects
• Contribute field experience and service insights to improve maintainability, service quality, and technical solutions

• Strong technical understanding of internal combustion engines, exhaust aftertreatment systems, and related powertrain components
• Practical experience with trucks, buses, and engines, with a solid understanding of real workshop environments and service operations
• Proven ability to translate complex engineering and design data into safe, practical, and workshop-ready repair and maintenance methods
• Experience with 3D software, digital simulation, verification, and method validation tools
• Background in service, maintenance, or repair within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry, ideally involving TRATON products or comparable systems
• Analytical mindset with a structured and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Strong collaboration, communication, and technical documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams
• Proficiency in English
• German and Swedish language skills are considered an advantage
