Experienced Accountant

• Prepare accurate and timely month-end and year-end activities within Property Accounting
• Ensure balance sheet account accuracy and completeness, including preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Cooperate with Finance, IT, and Engineering teams on accounting treatment, data collection, validation, and SOX compliance
• Support team members with regular and ad hoc requests
• Review agreements and ensure proper accounting treatment under US GAAP
• Participate in testing accounting solutions during system implementation projects
• Analyze diverse accounting cases and provide insight into the global Assets Capitalization process
• Perform accurate data entry and timely reporting
• Collaborate with divisional finance and FP&A teams

• Good analytical skills and ability to draw clear and relevant conclusions
• Proficiency in Excel
• Fluent English speaking, writing, and reading skills
• Working knowledge and understanding of general ledger accounting
• Preferably a graduate of Finance or Accounting Studies
• Motivated to learn and demonstrate a proactive approach
• Cooperative and communicative
• Ability to work in a virtual and fast-changing environment
• Ability to support month-end and year-end accounting activities
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls
• Ability to review agreements and determine proper accounting treatment
• Experience or ability to participate in testing accounting solutions within system implementation projects
