Software Engineer – Full Stack, Java/React

• Develop and implement software solutions using Java and PL/SQL, ensuring code quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate applications using ReactJS, ensuring a seamless user experience
• Use Git for version control and code management, promoting collaborative development best practices
• Participate in the definition and implementation of service-oriented architectures (SOA), contributing to system scalability and maintainability
• Perform functionality testing and validation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products
• Collaborate with the team on code reviews and identifying opportunities to improve development processes

• Experience with Java development (17+), with strong knowledge of the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.)
• Experience and proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience with front-end development (React, micro frontends, BFF)
• Experience with microservices and distributed application development
• Experience with RESTful APIs and system integration
• Understanding of SOA concepts and practices, with experience implementing services
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle and MongoDB
• Experience with Apache Kafka messaging
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
• Knowledge of and/or experience with previous Java versions
• Knowledge of and/or experience with reactive programming (Spring WebFlux)
• Knowledge of cloud computing development (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)
• Experience with containerized development (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift)
• Familiarity with testing practices and automation
• Knowledge of information security principles and secure development best practices
• Familiarity with agile development practices and methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Previous experience in credit unions or financial institutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Participation in technology groups or involvement in tech communities
• Collaborative product design and development
