Senior Manager, Accounting

• Define and lead strategic initiatives across the Controllership organization
• Lead high-visibility projects from ideation and strategy through planning, execution and go-live
• Work on M&A integration, global system implementations, and operational process improvements using AI and automation
• Drive efficiency, scalability, and compliance across Controllership
• Support stakeholders in Accounting, Tax, SEC Reporting, AP, Billing, and Payroll
• Collaborate with R&D, GTM, Billing Platform, Financial Systems Enablement, IT/Support, ERP PMO, M&A, and Finance teams
• Lead complex strategic initiatives and ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
• Identify, validate, prioritize, and project-manage automation opportunities
• Contribute to CFO-level automation initiatives through knowledge sharing, advocacy, and project support
• Lead organization-wide change-management efforts and communicate with stakeholders
• Travel occasionally for project or team in-person meetings

• 8+ years in Accounting
• Preferred experience in global public companies with $1B+ in annual revenue
• Deep understanding of US GAAP, with ability to interpret, document and operationalize new, complex accounting scenarios
• Direct experience with SOX, including identifying and assessing risks and implementing appropriate mitigations
• Proven track record managing cross-functional projects from initiation to closure
• Demonstrated success automating accounting and operational processes
• Hands-on experience with a wide range of automation tools
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience building productive relationships across organizations and levels
• Ability to codify information and create and maintain institutional, permanent documentation
• Experience with Oracle ERP or similar systems, including implementation and troubleshooting (desired)
