Recruitment Consultant – Health and Life Sciences

• Identify, interview, and recruit qualified professionals for per diem and permanent assignments
• Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
• Generate leads through recruiting channels, strategic planning, and referrals
• Manage and nurture client relationships and understand hiring needs
• Provide client updates and ensure client satisfaction
• Conduct interviews in English via phone and Microsoft Teams
• Use word processing, spreadsheets, databases, ATS tools such as JobAdder, and presentation software
• Provide general administrative and human resource support
• Manage projects and assist the Director with day-to-day tasks
• Post and proactively manage job advertisements, including 2–3 LinkedIn posts per week
• Facilitate candidate debriefs and client interviews
• Meet placement targets of at least three placements per quarter
• Assist with business development research and client management
• Own assigned tasks and drive results

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a science-related field such as Nursing or Life Sciences
• Over 3 years of proven experience as a 180 Recruiter within the Australian market
• Experience recruiting for complex, hard-to-fill roles across pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
• Strong command of English, both verbal and written
• Confidence in client-facing communication
• Proficiency in ATS tools such as JobAdder, Microsoft Office Suite, and LinkedIn for sourcing
• Advanced skills in LinkedIn sourcing, outreach, and opportunity identification
• Strong consultative interviewing skills focused on candidate motivations and fit
• Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to urgent recruitment needs
• Strong organization, attention to detail, persistence, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in technical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical device, engineering, information technology, or other specialist industries highly regarded
• Experience in executive search, talent acquisition, or professional recruitment environments highly regarded
