Financial Controller

• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex and non-routine transactions in accordance with IFRS
• Prepare and review accounting entries related to acquisitions, business combinations, restructuring, liquidations, equity transactions, intercompany transactions, and other exceptional matters
• Support acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation, goodwill, identifiable intangible assets, deferred consideration, and post-acquisition accounting
• Prepare technical accounting memos and position papers supporting significant accounting judgments and treatments
• Support Group consolidation and ensure consistent accounting treatment across entities and jurisdictions
• Review complex balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and accounting entries
• Support accounting for equity, share-based payments, investments, financing arrangements, and changes in Group structure
• Work with external auditors on significant and judgmental accounting matters and resolve audit queries
• Support preparation and review of consolidated and standalone financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Monitor new and amended IFRS standards and assess their impact on the Group
• Support year-end audits and provide technical accounting documentation and analysis
• Support Finance leadership on accounting implications arising from M&A, restructuring, entity establishment or closure, and strategic transactions
• Strengthen accounting policies, financial controls, documentation, and reporting processes
• Contribute to IPO readiness, including accounting documentation, reporting quality, governance, controls, and audit readiness
• Partner with Tax, Legal, Treasury, FP&A, and other functions on cross-functional financial assessments
• Build internal technical accounting capabilities and reduce reliance on external advisors

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred
• CFA qualification or progress toward CFA is an additional advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or financial control
• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements
• Experience in complex accounting matters, preferably including M&A, business combinations, consolidation, restructuring, equity, and Group accounting
• Big Four experience is highly preferred, particularly audit, accounting advisory, or transaction-related exposure
• Experience working within a multinational or multi-entity Group environment is preferred
• Experience dealing directly with external auditors and preparing technical accounting documentation
• Strong understanding of financial controls, consolidation, and financial reporting processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and professional judgment skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
