Regional Business Manager

• Generate product sales revenue and manage key business relationships to drive routine use of Bionano systems
• Sell Bionano systems, software, and consumables directly within the defined territory
• Generate new leads and qualify opportunities that may become routine users
• Advance qualified opportunities through account management and relationship building
• Develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with key opinion leaders
• Develop a territory-specific sales plan and accurately forecast sales and revenue
• Deliver technical presentations on Bionano products
• Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate product capabilities, advantages, and advancements
• Use a CRM system for pipeline management, forecasting, and communication with field and internal personnel
• Represent the company at national and regional conferences
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required
• 4+ years of sales experience in Life Science capital equipment, consumables, software and services
• Experience in cytogenetics or molecular technologies
• Network in the target markets of Cytogenetics, Molecular Pathology, and Cell and Gene Therapy
• Strong understanding of scientific applications and technology developments as they relate to customer requirements in target market segments
• Ability to travel, work independently, and cooperatively in a cross-functional team
• Strong public speaking skills and ability to handle objections and communicate technical and business arguments
• Experience managing accounts in the defined geography
• Proven track record of consistent sales achievement and territory growth
• Fluent in German and English; Turkish is an advantage and other EU languages are a plus
• Home office must be within proximity to a major airport
• Ability to travel, including international travel, without personal assistance
• Ability to operate and drive motor vehicles
• Ability to use standard computer, telephone, and related equipment

• Up to 40% travel time expected
