Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure

• Design and implement modern cloud architectures in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on AI and data
• Develop Azure architectures, particularly using Azure AI Foundry and Databricks
• Continuously enhance AI and data platforms
• Ensure the reliable operation of AI and data platforms
• Serve as a technical point of contact for business departments and AI managers on artificial intelligence and data
• Document solutions and deliverables in a structured and transparent manner
• Contribute ideas in an international environment

• Strong technical understanding of networking, including public/private IPs, subnets, VNets, and DNS
• Knowledge of role and permission concepts, including RBAC
• Proven experience designing and implementing cloud architectures with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps
• Good German language skills
• Very good English language skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Willingness to pursue continuous professional development
• Experience with Terraform and Databricks is a plus
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker, is a plus
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework is a plus
• Understanding of generative AI and how it differs from traditional machine learning applications is a plus
• Experience with web technologies, particularly protocols, certificates, APIs, authentication, and authorization, is a plus
