Senior Android Software Engineer

• Develop and maintain the native Android application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders on requirements review, solution suggestions, and effort estimation
• Ensure the mobile application is user friendly, efficient, and adaptive to different screen sizes and device models
• Optimise the application for maximum speed, stability and scalability
• Implement authentication, session management and secure data storage to enterprise security standards
• Implement location-based features and location-triggered push notifications
• Investigate and resolve production issues, including crash analysis, root cause analysis and hotfixes
• Implement app monitoring and analytics
• Implement app localisation in multiple languages and accessibility support
• Write and maintain unit and UI test cases, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
• Take ownership of features and modules end to end, review peers' code against team standards, and contribute to technical design discussions
• Update internal knowledge base and operational documentation

• 5+ years of experience in developing native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Experience implementing location services and push notifications
• Experience with OAuth 2.0/OIDC, session management and secure credential storage
• Experience integrating third-party libraries
• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining unit and UI tests
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Scrum practices
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
• Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to continuous learning
• English at C1 – the working language with the client
