Investment Analyst

• Prepare materials, track LP conversations and write communications supporting capital formation
• Draft LP updates, recaps and outreach
• Maintain the LP pipeline after every meeting
• Build fund decks, one-pagers, data room materials and newsletters
• Build market maps, thematic research and investment theses
• Conduct primary research calls with operators, customers and experts
• Support market sizing, benchmarking, financial analysis and investment memos
• Coordinate diligence, data requests and document tracking
• Keep deal materials, term sheets and cap tables current
• Turn meetings into accurate recaps
• Draft materials for LPs, founders and co-investors requiring little editing

• 2 to 3 years in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, startup ops or strategy, or a founder's office
• Direct exposure to fundraising, investor relations or LP communications
• Exceptional written English and credibility on calls with senior investors
• Solid base in financial modeling, market sizing, competitive analysis and accounting fundamentals
• Working familiarity with term sheets, cap tables and diligence
• Fluent in Claude, ChatGPT, Notion and no-code automations
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Google Workspace
• Sharp investment judgment; ability to form a point of view, track everything and finish what you start
• Discretion with sensitive information, directness, honesty and steadiness under pressure
• Willingness to check in on weekends and outside normal hours when things are moving
