Financial Controller

• Manage and supervise bookkeeping staff and oversee division of duties
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable across multiple client accounts
• Lead month-end close, including booking transactions, adjusting journal entries, and preparing financial statements for review
• Use Ramp and QuickBooks Online for day-to-day accounting work
• Provide financial data for forecasting and support the fractional CFO with Excel-based financial modeling and data entry
• Review and correct financials before CFO review
• Participate in due diligence for fundraising or acquisition and prepare for audits
• Communicate with team members and clients
• Work collaboratively and independently

• At least 2-5 years of experience as a Controller
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting process management
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online required
• Ramp experience preferred but not required
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows)
• Willingness and ability to work US business hours
• Experience with due diligence or audit processes is a plus
