QA Test Lead

• Work on new projects, system enhancements, and ongoing support for the company’s systems
• Develop and guide the development of test plans and strategies, taking into account acceptance criteria, risks, priorities, and required resources
• Define and review test cases and scenarios, including positive, negative, and exception conditions
• Execute and monitor manual and/or automated tests, ensuring adequate coverage based on the impact, risks, and criticality of functionalities
• Document, log, and track defects with the development team through resolution
• Create and proactively manage test data sets
• Ensure the appropriate use of test environments and tools
• Prepare test reports and oversee the documentation of execution evidence
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to planning and the early identification of risks and impediments
• Proactively identify potential defects throughout the development lifecycle
• Provide technical guidance to test analysts, reviewing strategies, scenarios, test cases, and evidence as needed
• Serve as a technical reference for the QA team, supporting the resolution of questions and providing direction for activities
• Identify risks, impediments, and quality-related areas requiring attention, and provide the appropriate reports
• Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of QA processes, practices, and tools

• Experience analyzing functionalities and requirements
• Experience developing test scenarios, test cases, and test steps
• Knowledge of risk mapping and test coverage definition
• Experience gathering and preparing test data sets
• Proactive identification of defects throughout the development lifecycle
• Experience working in Agile teams and environments, participating from the earliest stages of planning
• Ability to report on activity progress and identify impediments
• Knowledge and application of established testing practices and standards
• Organization and maintenance of test documentation
• Experience logging, tracking, and maintaining defect traceability
• Knowledge of test automation (a plus)
• Experience with automated testing using Artificial Intelligence (a plus)
• Knowledge of or experience using AI to generate, optimize, or maintain tests (a plus)
• Experience in insurance and capitalization environments (a plus)
