AI & E-Commerce Developer

• Build AI-powered tools and workflows that improve efficiency across the business
• Use AI for coding, automation, data processing, product management, customer service, and internal operations
• Develop and maintain backend applications, APIs, integrations, and internal tools
• Help build or improve a Product Information Management (PIM) system
• Work with product catalogs containing 100,000+ SKUs
• Improve product imports, vendor feeds, pricing, inventory, categorization, and data quality
• Integrate Shopify with CRM, order management, shipping, vendor, and other business systems
• Identify manual or inefficient processes and build technical solutions to improve them
• Collaborate with the lead developer on architecture, integrations, and larger development initiatives
• Evaluate new AI tools and determine where they can effectively support the business and existing development processes

• Senior-level developer role
• Preferred experience with Python and Django
• Shopify development experience, including Liquid/theme development and/or React/Hydrogen/headless commerce
• Experience with ecommerce platforms, web applications, APIs, and system architecture
• SQL and database management experience
• Experience building AI/LLM-powered tools, integrations, and automations
• Experience with PIM, CRM, ERP, or Order Management systems
• Experience with large-scale product catalogs and product data
• Experience with search platforms such as Algolia or Elasticsearch
• Experience in furniture, home furnishings, or another product-heavy retail environment is a plus
• Ability to understand business problems and build practical solutions using AI, automation, and traditional development
• Collaborative ability to work with the existing development team
