Care Assistant

• Support clients to remain safe, happy and independent in their own homes
• Visit clients in their homes and provide services that promote quality of life
• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Take clients to appointments and social events
• Prepare meals and perform light housework
• Help with shopping
• Provide personal care, including washing, dressing and medication support
• Build positive client relationships and continuity of care
• Work with office staff and client supervisors to deliver the best possible care

• Must be over 18 years of age
• UK driving licence required
• Access to own car/vehicle required
• Business class 1 insurance required
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• No specific qualification required
• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week, up to full-time hours
• Availability for 2 evenings and every other weekend

• Excellent organisational ability and good time management skills

• Double pay on bank holidays
• 39p per mile fuel expenses between calls and when taking clients on outings
