Senior Test Engineer – Automation, Java

• Drive stories to completion, including automated testing and documentation
• Create, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks
• Define and execute automated tests using Cucumber and Java
• Test microservices and backend components for performance and reliability
• Validate REST APIs, web services, XML/JSON data, and SQL interactions
• Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery
• Apply secure development practices and compliance standards in testing
• Participate in Scrum/Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Mentor team members on quality guidelines and best practices
• Support stakeholders in decision-making and QA strategy
• Evaluate and report on new testing tools, techniques, and approaches

• 4+ years of QA Automation experience, including building and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Strong experience with Cucumber and Java
• Experience testing microservices and backend components
• Knowledge of REST, web services, XML, JSON, SQL, Tomcat, and Linux
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins
• Understanding of secure development practices
• Understanding of functional, integration, and regression testing techniques
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and continuous delivery
• Ability to mentor team members and promote QA best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong motivation and high performance, focused on achieving goals and delivering results
• Upper-Intermediate+ English level
• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or related discipline is desirable
• Background in Payments, FinTech, or Financial Services is desirable
• Knowledge of transaction processing systems is desirable
• Experience with performance, resilience, or other non-functional testing is desirable
