Relationship Manager – CIBG, FID, Sales

• Establish and manage Financial Institutions relationships to achieve pre-set financial and non-financial goals for East Asia, Sri Lanka and Maldives.
• Establish and manage cross-border limits and exposures for targeted East Asia, Sri Lanka and Maldives markets and targeted FI clients.
• Develop and execute marketing and business plans for East Asia, Sri Lanka and Maldives markets.
• Support and act as backup for the Senior Relationship Manager in managing and advancing Mashreq’s FI business across the region.
• Collaborate with the Senior Relationship Manager to produce business strategies and financial budgets for select East Asian markets.
• Review the portfolio periodically to maintain and enhance asset quality, control risks and identify further opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new FI business prospects, establish relationships, develop revenue opportunities, and execute transactions.
• Monitor economic and political developments to calibrate credit risk, financial crime and sanctions compliance appetites.
• Position Mashreq as a leading bank through prospecting, client engagement, deal origination and execution with targeted FIs.
• Monitor and report key financial and other performance metrics at portfolio, market and relationship levels.

• Thorough knowledge of International Banking services and products, particularly in Cash Management, Trade Finance, Treasury, Loans and Debt Capital Markets products for Financial Institutions.
• Strong inter-personal skills and effective coordination and communication skills and ability to engage with professionals from varying cultural backgrounds.
• Solid understanding of credit risk, financial crime compliance and sanctions compliance in a Financial Institutions context.
• Good understanding of political, economic and regulatory environments and banking industry in Central Asia.
• Competent in preparing PowerPoint presentations, and in handling excel spreadsheets and drafting business proposals.
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in Financial Institutions business.
