Mid-Level Analyst – Zscaler

• Implement, configure, administer, and support the Zscaler platform
• Analyze and resolve medium- and high-complexity incidents related to the Zscaler environment
• Configure and administer Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions
• Administer and troubleshoot Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) on user endpoints
• Implement and maintain security, access control, web browsing, and data protection policies
• Configure and maintain resources such as cloud proxy, firewall, sandboxing, and DLP, according to the contracted solutions
• Participate in security architecture implementations, migrations, and improvements
• Support the implementation of Zero Trust architectures, including scenarios involving the replacement or modernization of traditional VPNs
• Monitor the environment, identify vulnerabilities and incidents, and recommend improvement opportunities
• Troubleshoot connectivity and integration between Zscaler, corporate networks, and applications
• Integrate the platform with identity providers and authentication solutions
• Recommend improvements to security policies and configurations to enhance the environment’s efficiency, availability, and protection
• Create and maintain technical documentation for environments, configurations, and procedures

• Proven experience administering and supporting the Zscaler platform
• Professional experience in Network Security and/or Cloud Security
• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in Network Security
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with the Zscaler ecosystem preferred
• Knowledge of and experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
• Knowledge of and experience with Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC)
• Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, GRE, and IPsec
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures
• Experience integrating identity providers (IdPs), such as Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, or Ping Identity
• Knowledge of authentication and provisioning protocols, such as SAML and SCIM
• Ability to independently analyze and resolve incidents and technical issues
• ZSCCA – Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator certification is a plus
• ZSCCE – Zscaler Certified Cloud Expert certification is a plus
• Experience with Zscaler migration or implementation projects is a plus
• Experience replacing traditional VPN solutions with Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) is a plus
• Knowledge of DLP, NGFW, and cloud security solutions is a plus
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments is a plus
