Senior Technical Program Manager

• Lead initiatives across the enterprise from concept to market
• Align product, software engineering, site reliability, and architecture teams
• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• Lead cross-functional teams supporting the product/technology roadmap
• Manage programs including planning, schedule management, and monitoring investment levels
• Participate in and enhance product development
• Oversee software lifecycles and coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet timelines and budgets
• Communicate program status and updates to senior leadership
• Provide guidance and informal mentoring for team members
• Coordinate technical and business stakeholders for enterprise-level data center software infrastructure deployments
• Advance Software Infrastructure Services and improve the reliability and scalability of Akamai’s Cloud platform

• Relevant experience in program/project management
• Significant experience in Agile processes and methodologies
• Ability to inspire people at all levels of the organization without authority
• Ability in change management and transformation processes
• Deep domain expertise in core cloud computing concepts, distributed systems, and scalable cloud infrastructure architecture
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
