Backup & Storage Product Architect – IT Technical Lead

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-level backup and storage solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Evaluate and recommend backup and storage technologies, platforms, and vendors
• Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps, standards, policies, and guidelines
• Collaborate with infrastructure, applications, security, and operations teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and administrators
• Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with data retention policies, disaster recovery objectives, and regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, automation, and efficiency
• Manage vendor relationships and technical discussions
• Develop and maintain documentation for backup and storage architectures and configurations

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure with a strong focus on backup and storage technologies
• Proven experience as an architect or lead engineer designing and implementing large-scale enterprise backup and storage solutions
• Deep expertise in backup technologies such as Commvault and their underlying architectures
• Extensive knowledge of SAN, NAS, and object storage such as S3
• Strong understanding of AWS S3, Azure Blob, and cloud-native backup strategies
• Proficiency in scripting and automation such as PowerShell
• Familiarity with disaster recovery planning, business continuity, and data replication strategies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable
• Fluent English is a must
