Field Technical Sales Engineer – Brabender Product Line

• Develop sales of the Brabender product line across northern France
• Prospect for and identify new business opportunities
• Develop, retain, and support a portfolio of industrial customers
• Analyze customers’ technical and application requirements
• Advise customers and propose suitable solutions in plastics, polymers, and extrusion
• Present equipment and conduct technical demonstrations
• Provide first-line technical support
• Support customers from needs identification through solution follow-up
• Build and maintain long-term business relationships
• Track projects and sales opportunities within the assigned territory
• Collaborate with Anton Paar France’s sales, technical, and applications teams
• Work with Brabender teams in Germany to propose suitable solutions and achieve sales targets
• Travel regularly to visit customers and prospects, with occasional travel in France and abroad

• Higher education in a scientific or technical field, ideally materials science, polymers, plastics processing, materials chemistry, or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of technical experience, ideally in materials, plastics, or polymers
• Experience in materials testing and/or quality control, as specified in the original job description
• Knowledge of extrusion, compounding, or polymer processing is an advantage
• Strong interest in business development and customer relations
• Keen interest in materials, plastics, and polymers
• Ability to understand customers’ technical challenges and develop suitable proposals
• Excellent communication, listening, and consulting skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• High degree of autonomy in managing activities and travel
• Dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
• Professional proficiency in English is essential
• Valid Category B driver’s license
• High mobility and availability for regular travel in France and occasional international travel
• Ideally based in the Île-de-France region or nearby
