QA Research Engineer

• Comprehend and execute manual and automated test cases
• Uncover, document, and track defects
• Improve test case execution efficiency and test coverage
• Work in an agile development environment with developers and other team members to deliver quality software iteratively
• Participate in requirements testing
• Continuously improve processes, test methodologies, execution efficiency, and effectiveness
• Find bugs and contribute to quality software delivery

• Strong understanding of testing theory and QA best practices, specifically for web services applications
• Solid understanding of distributed architecture and ecosystem
• Familiarity with development and debugging tools for Python, Go, Ruby, and React
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated test cases using Python and Pytest or Playwright for React
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including integrating automated tests into workflows
• Proven ability to take ownership of QA processes from development to release
• 3+ years of experience in QA roles within agile teams, with a strong focus on desktop application testing
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to mentor team members, drive QA initiatives, and establish robust testing processes
• Nice to have: proficiency in Go, Ruby, or React
• Nice to have: experience with performance and stress testing for web services
• Nice to have: familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Bruno
• Nice to have: knowledge of security and privacy standards
• Nice to have: experience with accessibility testing
