Senior Data Integration Specialist – Smart Grid Software

• Join a currently four-person team
• Build customers’ digital twins of their electricity grids in Venios.Net
• Design and take ownership of functional and technical architectures
• Integrate data sources and systems such as GIS, SCADA, metering systems, asset data, and weather and forecast data
• Validate delivered data
• Work closely with project management, product management, development, DevOps, and customers
• Act as a technical sparring partner
• Support the implementation team during pilot projects and rollouts

• Completed degree in a STEM subject, preferably Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
• Several years of programming experience, preferably in high-level languages such as C#
• Several years of experience as a Data Integrator, Systems Integrator, or in a comparable role
• Experience with complex data models, integration architectures, and APIs
• Ideally, knowledge of the energy industry or smart grid environment
• Knowledge of electricity grid structures and geographic information systems is a plus
• Strong understanding of IT architectures, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data architectures
• Excellent German and English language skills
• Residence in, or a valid work permit for, Germany or Austria
