Data Scientist – New York Team

• Leverage analytical skills to support retail optimization projects across the US market
• Experiment with machine learning models to forecast sales volume and costs
• Interface with retailers to continuously improve the 7Learnings software
• Collaborate closely with the global engineering team
• Optimize data pipelines and predictive model codebases
• Support the monitoring, measurement, and exploration of large-scale datasets
• Own the intersection of predictive decision-making and engineering for North American operations
• Ensure AI-driven decision engines are mathematically sound, highly optimized, and engineering-resilient
• Translate real-world retail challenges into scalable, high-performance software solutions impacting US clients
• Ensure technical execution remains flawless, technical debt remains low, and model accuracy remains exceptionally high

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field
• A results-oriented, pragmatic mindset
• Hands-on experience in machine learning and data science
• Prior experience with Git, TensorFlow, Google Cloud Platform, SQL, or BigQuery
• Strong project management skills, with prior experience or a strong interest in e-commerce and the retail industry
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a proven track record of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• English: Native speaker or professional working proficiency (C1-C2 level)
• Located in Mexico and working aligned with US time zones
