Network Automation Engineer

• Design and implement network automation tools and frameworks for configuration, deployment, and monitoring across partner datacenters
• Develop and maintain scripts, playbooks, and pipelines for automated provisioning of network devices and services
• Integrate Brokkr’s platform with network management systems and datacenter vendor and equipment APIs
• Troubleshoot network issues and handle L2 and L3 support incidents using automation-based remediation
• Monitor and improve network performance and uptime across diverse hardware and topologies
• Enforce network security policies through configuration automation and compliance checks
• Collaborate with infrastructure and systems engineers to support deployment and scaling of bare metal resources
• Contribute to scalable, fault-tolerant network solution design and architecture

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted
• Proven experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Netmiko/NAPALM
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing Cumulus, SONIC, Cisco, Juniper, Arista, MikroTik, and similar network equipment
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
• Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and related network protocols and services
• Familiarity with REST APIs and SNMP
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for network changes
• Knowledge of Linux networking and troubleshooting
• CCNA, CCNP, or DevNet Associate/Professional certifications are a plus
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code practices in networking environments
• Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, or NetBox
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; proactive in asking questions
